RVF Brooksong Morning Sun is a striking 1994 palomino Morgan mare, bred by Riverview Farms of Washington and represented by the CM Breyer Marabella sculpted by Deb Lenzner. A daughter of the handsome buckskin Morgan stallion LJ Morning Reveille, by Sunup Neptune and out of High Ridge Victoria, Morning Sun combines eye-catching color with a pedigree rich in traditional Morgan blood. Reveille proved there was substance behind his good looks, placing sixth in the 1995 International Buckskin Horse Association Reining Division against Quarter Horse competition, while Morning Sun's dam, Cascade Sunshine, contributes another strong foundation influence through King Cole and My Gay Pixie, bringing such notable old Morgan names as Shine On, Hickory, Sonfield, Mansfield and Gay Mac into the pedigree. Morning Sun proved herself in the model show ring as well, earning a North American Nationals qualification in CM Morgan Halter at the 1999 Central Colorado Model Horse Expo, qualifying her for the 2000 and 2001 NAN shows. A valuable addition to the RDS Morgan breeding program, this lovely golden mare offers breeders an appealing combination of colorful Morgan heritage, traditional bloodlines, proven show-ring quality and intriguing possibilities for both palomino and buckskin Morgan offspring.
