A lovely 1988 bay Mustang mare bred by Y-Bar Stables of South Dakota, Maple represents generations of carefully preserved modelbred and rangebred Mustang bloodlines, with particularly strong concentrations of several influential foundation ancestors. Sired by the red flaxen sorrel Hawk's Flame and out of the bright bay overo mare Bright Angel, Maple carries a fascinating blend of colorful ancestry, including sabino, overo, roan, palomino, and striking high-white markings. Her pedigree features close 3x3 linebreeding to the red chestnut Moore's Fire, with additional 4x4 concentrations of his parents, Moore's Red Blaze and Lucilliea. She is also linebred 4x4 to both Rayo del Sol and Aeriana, further reinforcing her distinctive Mustang heritage.
