Mountainside Race Park is a simulated horse racing park located in Arvada, Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Our one mile dirt track opened in March of 2000 and hosts a variety of stock horse races on a monthly basis with occasional FTRA Thoroughbred meets and international Arabian racing. We are also adding a short winter domestic Arabian season (three meets) in late 2026/early 2027. Our races are open to Express racing group members only and all horses must be registered with the Express Racing Registries, or in the case of FTRA, registered in the ONR database. (Pending registrations are acceptable.) MTS races are held under the rules established by the Express realistic racing organization. Please read the Intro to Other Breed Racing Booklet and follow all guidelines outlined when entering MTS race meets. For further information about the Express and realistic racing, please visit the links page of our home stable, Rainbow Dreams Stables.
Thank you for your interest in MTS! We hope to see you here soon!
Please note that Mountainside Race Park, as well as all horses & activities held within, are for entertainment purposes only and are not associated with live horse racing. The simulated horse racing hobby promotes the research and understanding of equine bloodlines and the sport of horse racing.
