Tindra of Décorima combines generations of classic British and Swedish Shetland breeding with the unusual mushroom dilution that makes her such an eye-catching little mare. Her sire, Neptune, brings together Swedish blood through Neptan, Bimbo, Epol and the highly regarded Almnäs Sirocco, while her dam, Rizekrispie, adds traditional British island breeding through Clibberswick Hammerite, Ricicle of Hasguard, Cawa of Berry and the influential Kirkbride family. Mushroom is especially well established on both sides of Tindra's pedigree: Clibberswick Hammerite was one of the ponies instrumental in documenting the dilution genetically, while the Gletness and Houlland families behind her Swedish lines are closely associated with historic mushroom-producing bloodlines. With her rich chestnut-mushroom coloring, compact Shetland type and a pedigree blending established Swedish and British families, Tindra offers a particularly charming combination of heritage, color and character.
