A delightful blend of stripes, history, and plenty of personality, Jabari is one of the more unusual residents of Rainbow Dreams Stables! This eye-catching 2020 Zonkey gelding combines the exotic beauty of his zebra heritage with the sturdy charm of his donkey ancestry. His sire, Jengo, is a striking Grant/Damara Zebra whose pedigree traces to real zebras, including Gotti and Liz, while his dam, Dahlia, represents generations of carefully documented historical modelbred donkey bloodlines. Of particular sentimental interest is his maternal granddam, Checkers, bred by Rainbow Dreams Stables in 1992, giving Jabari a special connection to the farm's own history. His name, meaning "brave" or "fearless" in Swahili, seems especially fitting for this distinctive little fellow, whose soft brown coat, bold black stripes, and wonderfully expressive ears make him impossible to overlook! Although he has no breeding duties, Jabari is ready to live up to his name as a confident show-ring competitor, where his unique appearance, undeniable charm, and fearless spirit are sure to make him a memorable presence!
